We were thrilled to host Kansas City makeup artist Gina Holmberg, who brought her incredible expertise (and humor!) to our space for a morning of beauty, learning, and lots of “Ohhh… so that’s how you’re supposed to do it.”

Gina walked our group through fresh techniques and updated makeup strategies that work for real women and real schedules. From concealer placement to bronzer blending to eye-brightening tricks, she showed us how small tweaks can completely reshape your routine—and your confidence.
It was a fun, relaxed, “no shame” environment where everyone felt comfortable asking questions, trying new techniques, and realizing we don’t have to make makeup complicated to make it look good.

Because let’s be honest—between school drop-offs, meetings, errands, pickups, and those surprise run-ins at the store, most of us have applied makeup in less-than-ideal lighting at some point.
She showed us the essential products and tools to keep on hand for:

- emergency glow-ups
- five-minute fixes
- and “I swear I don’t always look this tired” moments
Everyone left feeling more equipped (and much more confident) to pull off a polished look on the go.

Gina also provided personalized color advice—helping guests understand undertones, seasonal shades, and which products can simplify your routine instead of cluttering it.

Hosting this event reminded us why we opened our doors in the first place—to create a space where women can learn, connect, feel supported, and feel good in their own skin.
